Section 3.6. Summary

3.6. Summary

In this chapter we have described, in general terms, a programming model appropriate for describing highly parallel, mixed software/hardware applications. This programming model has been proven to be an effective, efficient way to describe the types of applications and algorithms for which programmable hardware platforms are best suited. In subsequent chapters you'll learn through example how to make use of this programming model within the context of the C language.
