If Oracle included the Apache web server and the Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Discoverer servers as the only elements of the Oracle Application Server 10 g product stack, it would still be an incredibly powerful product. The supplemental tools provided by Oracle discussed in this chapter enhance the existing components to make Application Server 10 g a true world-class product, suitable for virtually any type of production, web-based application.
