This chapter went over some of the benefits of using dynamic content including better user experience and smaller file size. We went over the different approaches to loading content, as well as the different file formats, which can be loaded into Flash dynamically.
Then we covered the need for preloaders and the different ways to make them.
We even covered the two components that make it easy to load in content as well as create a preloader without any ActionScript whatsoever.
In later chapters, we cover more on dynamic content including loading in data from external text files and from servers, as well as how to stream video.
