Chapter 35. Creating and Working with Selections


A selection masks off an area of an image so that you can make changes to that area without affecting the rest of the image. You can fill selections, run effects on them, and more. You can save selections and load them later. You also can copy and paste selections within an image or from one image to another, and you can add to and subtract from selections.
