As he is beginning, a little boy comes along. “Do you think you will finish by sundown?” he said to Mike Mulligan.
“Sure,” said Mike, “if you stay and watch us. We always work faster and better when someone is watching us.”
Don’t we all. Ever noticed how your performance is heightened whenever someone is watching? (How about when a police car is behind you on a city street?)
