Stands for Encapsulated PostScript file. The process of converting an image into PostScript data while bundling a lower-resolution preview so the image can be viewed and proofed onscreen.

EXIF Data

Photographic reference information attached to digital files by some digital cameras. Information includes camera name and date, exposure data, flash, and compression rates.

exposure

The degree of effect applied to the image. You can also think of it as intensity or pressure.
