Prompt

Changes the command prompt.

Syntax

 prompt [text] 

Parameters
Parameter	Purpose
none	Resets the command prompt to its default setting.
[text]	Specifies the text to be displayed as the command prompt. In addition to text, you can also include the following:
	$q equals sign
	$$ dollar sign

	$+ Zero or more plus sign (+) characters depending upon the depth of the pushd directory stack
