In this Chapter, you learned how to configure WCCP and content switch application redirection techniques, within various caching topologies, including proxy, transparent, and reverse caching. You learned about the additional services that CEs can provide to your network outside of basic object caching services. Value-added services, such as SSL caching, ICAP, URL filtering, and TCP/IP parameter adjustments, are some of the features that are available within the CE that you can enable in your network environment. These features are transparent to your clients and origin servers. You also learned how to configure Windows and RealMedia streaming services on standalone CEs. |
