About the Contributors

Keen Haynes is the co-founder of MKAD, Inc., a Macromedia Solutions Provider that operates in Orange County, California. He is a Certified ColdFusion Developer and formerly a senior consultant with Macromedia. While with Macromedia Consulting Services, he worked with ColdFusion, JRun, and ClusterCATS. He also provided extension development support for Macromedia's UltraDev and Dreamweaver applications. Keen is the author of several JRun-related technical articles and has presented at the Southern California CFUG, SCCFUG 2nd ColdFusion Conference, and Comdex Chicago. His first experience with ColdFusion was developing a student registration application for the University of Maryland's University College (Asian Division) Distant Education department in 1995. Retired from the United States Marine Corps in 1999, he holds an M.S. in computer systems management. An avid surfer, he also enjoys hiking in the California mountains and deserts.

Sheldon Sargent, or Sarge, (MCSE, MMCP, and Certified ColdFusion Developer) is the former ColdFusion Practice Manager for Macromedia Consulting Services. He currently provides a consummate source for security, session-management, and LDAP information as a Senior Product Support Engineer, handling incident escalations as a member of Macromedia's Product Support - Server Division.
