Windows XP Professional is a superset of Windows XP Home Edition. It contains features applicable to corporate end users. In particular, Windows XP Professional supports file encryption through EFS, domain membership, enhanced security, automated system recovery (ASR), and Remote Desktop, both as a client and a single-session server. Windows XP SP2 is currently the latest service pack available for Windows XP. It incorporates hundreds of fixes to the operating system along with additional features that consist of a Windows Security Center, an updated Windows Firewall, an Add-On Manager and Pop-up Blocker in Internet Explorer, and enhancements for wireless networking and Automatic Updates.
