Assemblies in Detail

We've used the Microsoft .NET Framework for each of the programs we've written so far, and while I've described how assemblies are used for deployment and you have an idea of what they are, the time has come to dig a bit deeper into assemblies in order to fully understand them. In this chapter, we'll write a program that examines any assembly available to you. In the process of developing this program and learning more about assemblies, you'll also become familiar with a few more of the Visual Basic .NET controls.
