158. Search for Contacts

You can quickly search for contacts that meet a set of criteria using the Search bar. Searches can be conducted using any of the fields in an address book entry.

Select Search Type

Select the Search drop-down arrow and select the search type such as Name Begins With or Category Is.

Enter Search Text and Run Search

Enter the search criteria (in most cases a text string) for the search and then select Find Now. The results of the search appear in the Address Book pane.

Clear Search

To clear the search and view all entries in the Address Book, select the Clear button on the far right of the Search bar.
