SLEEP LESSWORK MORE

Have you plugged your PowerBook or iBook into an A/C outlet, but it's still going to sleep on you every 5 or 10 minutes? Honestly, that drives me nuts, and if you're like me, once you plug in, you'll want to go to the System Preferences (in the Apple menu) and click on the Energy Saver icon. When its pane appears, click on the Sleep tab (if you don't see the tab, click on the Show Details button on the bottom right), and then drag the top slider over to a reasonable amount of time (like 30 minutes or more). That way, if you do call it a night and forget to put your PowerBook to sleep, eventually Energy Saver will kick in.
