Most of the brushes and variants in Painter work in a similar fashion. You simply select the category and variant and click and drag on the canvas. However, there are two categories of brushes that work a little differentlywater colors and liquid inks. Unlike most brushes, these two have special characteristics, so Painter provides you with a variety of ways to control how the brushes are applied. Trying to mimic real-life painting as closely as possible, Painter allows you to control the wetness of the ink, the dry rate, the flow direction, and many other options. In this chapter you'll learn how to:
Create a water color layer
Change water color controls
Erase water colors
Adjust liquid ink controls
