Applying Water Color

Whenever you select and start painting with one of the water color brushes, a new water color layer is created automatically. When you apply a water color brush on the canvas, you can actually watch the color as it dries on the page. An indicator in the Layers palette (an icon of a water droplet) shows you how quickly the water color is drying. Later in this chapter, you'll learn how to control the drying rate. For now, follow these steps to learn how to apply water color.
