Chapter Summary

We've come far since promoting our Windows Server 2003 to Domain Controller status:

  • We've learned about Users, Groups, and Organizational Units

  • We've learned about the myriad levels of permissions (network share vs. NTFS file) and permission inheritance

  • We've learned how to publish shared folders and printers to the network and Active Directory

In the next chapter, we learn how to join client computers to our domain.
