Working with a Template


Most templates contain several page layouts that you can use to quickly format your document. These layouts often contain text, images, tables, charts, and other formatting options you may want. The newsletter we are designing needs a total of four pages. You've already created the layout for the first page; now you'll create the layouts for the other three pages.

1.

On the toolbar, click the Pages button, and choose a page design from the pop-up list. For this newsletter, choose the 2 Column layout.

Add two more pages to the layout. Choose 2 Column with Indent and Mailer.

Note

When a preformatted page is added to your document, a section break is automatically inserted before it. This way, when you edit an individual page it will not affect those that come before or after it.

3.

Choose File > Save to save your document.
