In this chapter, we introduced you to master/detail page sets. The master/detail information organization model, more commonly referred to as the drill-down model, is an excellent way to present the staggering amount of information in a website. Each language Dreamweaver MX supports provides several methods to create master/detail page sets. The easiest method to use is the Master Detail Page Set Server Behavior. The Master Detail Page Set Server Behavior is essentially a wizard that allows you to create the many Server Behaviors that actually construct the master/detail page set. The Master Detail Page Set Server Behavior is available in Microsoft ASP, JavaServer Pages, and Macromedia ColdFusion MX. To create master/detail page sets in ASP.NET and PHP, you must manually add the component server behavior.
