This chapter covered some of the main management aspects of the Exchange and POP3 Connector services included with SBS 2003. Most of the main settings for Exchange are configured through the Connect to the Internet Wizard, but some features, such as mail delivery to multiple domains and the Intelligent Message Filter require manual setup by the system administrator. The chapter also addressed other issues related to the prevention of spam and virus attacks on the server and gave troubleshooting steps for several processes related to mail delivery and processing. With this information, an SBS system administrator should be better prepared to handle the day-to-day management of Exchange and its related components. |
