Service Types

Service types are defined to allow a controller to specify different traffic management types on VSI messages, as shown in Tables A-2 through A-6. The specific service type mapping into hardware programming is left to the VSI slave and is transparent to the VSI master. The VSI master specifies a type of traffic using the service types defined.
