In this chapter, you learned how to create a table in a PowerPoint slide. There are two methods available: using the table AutoLayout or inserting a table. Navigating within a table is easy by using the mouse or arrow keys on the keyboard. You can now enter and edit text that has been added to a table. Setting the alignment of text is also easy when you use the buttons available on the Formatting toolbar and the Tables and Borders toolbar. Once you create a table, you're ready to modify and customize it. You can insert or delete columns and rows. You also can adjust the width of columns , the height of rows, and the size of a table. Simple changes to a table's border and shading options can add impact to your table. |
