Managing Licenses

When ZENworks Linux Management is initially installed without a license code, the software is configured to be in evaluation mode. Evaluation mode is a fully functional product for 90 days from the installation. At the end of the 90 days, you can no longer manage the system through ZENworks Control Center.

When you have a license code, you can enter the code to fully license the ZENworks Linux Management product. This can be done by going to the Home tab on the ZENworks Control Center and then clicking on the Manage Licenses task in the Quick Task list.

Clicking on the Manage Licenses task brings up the Product Activation dialog, shown in Figure 11.1.

Enter the license code that was given at the time of purchase. When a valid code is entered, press the OK button.
