In this chapter, we introduced portal security and security access management concepts. We introduced the products implemented for the secure portal, WebSphere Portal Server V5.01 and Tivoli Access Manger V4.1. This rest of this redbook will cover the following topics:

• Discussion of functional and non-functional requirements and design with business/technical use cases.
