Overview

This chapter describes the requirements and design for a secure portal. The requirements are addressed from both the functional and non-functional business perspectives. A number of simple use cases are outlined which show the basic functionalities of the secure portal.

The solution design, subsystems and operational view are then presented, followed by walkthroughs of the communication flow between the solution components.

We will also look at design guidelines.
