Chapter 4: Using Shring-Wrapped Classes

Chapter 4 Using Shrink-Wrapped Classes

One of the main ideas of object-oriented development is to reuse classes, objects, components and frameworks. This is true for classes we create ourselves, as well as those provided by third parties. Creating reusable components is not trivial, and we'll discuss this in depth in Chapter 8. Using well-designed classes and components is relatively easy. In this chapter I'll introduce the basics of working with existing classes, as well as a great set of classes that ship with Visual FoxPro: the Fox Foundation Classes.
