Printing Mail

You can print mail messages, either directly from the Inbox when they have been selected or from a message window when you have opened a particular message. To print an unopened message, select the message in the message list of the Inbox or other folder and choose File , Print . The Print dialog box opens; click OK to send the message to the printer. If the message is already open , you can follow these steps:

  1. Open the message in Outlook.

  2. Choose File and then select Print , to open the Print dialog box.

  3. In the Print dialog box, click OK to print one copy of the entire message using the printer's default settings. See Lesson 17, "Printing in Outlook," in this section of the book for detailed information about configuring pages and changing printer options.

Print a Message from the Inbox graphics/print.gif You can also print a message or messages from the Inbox. Select the message or messages in the Inbox list and then click the Print button on the Outlook toolbar.


When you finish reading or printing a message, click the Close button on the message window.
