Appendix C. Packaging Extensions for Use with the Extension Manager

Just as the Macromedia Extensions Manager has become the accepted way to install and manage Dreamweaver extensions, creating installation packages is the way to prepare your files to share with others. Instead of handing over several separate HTML, JavaScript, and GIF files, along with instructions on what files to put where, you package everything up in an MXP file, and the Extensions Manager takes care of the rest. This appendix describes the procedure for creating an MXP file for easy sharing.
