MIDI Recording Preparations

In Chapter 4, we looked at the different recording modes available in the Transport panel. In Chapter 6, we looked at the different settings available in a MIDI track to record and play back events that were recorded on that track. Now, it's time to put it all together and look at different MIDI recording situations. For example, do you want to do the following:

• Record only one MIDI source?

• Record multiple MIDI sources simultaneously ?

• Record over something you previously recorded?

• Tell Cubase to start recording automatically at a certain point and stop recording after it crosses another location in your project?
