This chapter presents a discussion of the various error types and some possible sources. The errors are broken into following categories: errors returned by the DS service running on the server, errors returned by the client application (workstation based or server based), and errors returned by the DSA running on the server.
Chapter 6 provides an in-depth look at the common DS processes and helps explain the causes of the errors.
