Bottom Line: Trust is Everything

Project managers must establish their credibility. However, they must do more than that. They must maintain credibility to the very end. A crucial ingredient for establishing and maintaining credibility is trust that, in turn , requires consistent and ethical behavior in all aspects of a project. Project managers must not only get people to trust them, they must also learn to trust others. When such levels of trust exist, all people can exhibit leadership.
