Lesson 9. Using the Calendar

In this chapter, you explore the Notes Calendar. You learn how to open and select calendar views; make, customize, edit, and convert entries; and print the calendar.

Some Calendar entries affect your free time availability. Managing access to your calendar, who can read it, and who can see when you are available, was covered in Chapter 8, "Setting Mail, Calendar, and To Do Preferences." You might want to revisit that chapter to set your Calendar preferences before using the Calendar. Here we discuss scheduling appointments which is different than scheduling meetings, covered in Chapter 10, "Working With Meetings and Group Calendaring."
