Part of Steve Rindsberg's great PowerPoint site, this set of pages contains the distilled PowerPoint wisdom of the newsgroup through the years . If questions come up multiple times, Steve adds the question and answers to the FAQ. Read the Don't use PowerPoint for anything serious until you've done this section, then use the rest as a searchable resource.

Run by PowerPoint MVP Sonia Coleman, this site is a great resource for tutorials, templates, downloads and great artwork. Sonia's site is the home of the Autorun CD Programs: PowerLink Plus, PowerLink and Autorun CD Project Creator.

Echo's Voice


Run by PowerPoint MVP Echo Swinford, this site is the home of many tutorials you will find very helpful, including:

Glen's PowerPoint Workbench


Created and written by Glen Millar, yet another MVP, this site specializes in showing how to use animation and effects to create slides. Glen specializes in making the 2D objects look like 3D objects. Add to that tutorials on round-tripping presentations between HTML and PowerPoint and animation, and you have one of the most fact-filled sites ever to come out of Australia.

Run by PowerPoint MVP Geetesh Bajaj, this site is full of product reviews, tips, techniques and PowerPoint resources. Among the best information on Geetesh's site are his tutorials and articles on multimedia and PowerPoint. Be sure to check out his series of Flash articles.

The Microsoft Knowledge Base

This is the database of all questions and solutions addressed by Microsoft. The Knowledge Base contains information on all of Microsoft's products. Bit Better


Home of the Screen Beans clip art collection, this site is run by Cathleen Belleville and Dennis Austin of A Bit Better. Besides the static Screen Beans and Animated Screen Beans collections, there is also a PowerPoint forum frequented by several of the PowerPoint MVPs.

PPT Live


PowerPoint Live is a PowerPoint community gathering and conference held annually by R Altman Productions. The conference is three and a half days of sessions, talk and the help center, where you can get one-on-one help for PowerPoint questions and problems.
