Working with External 3D Applications

As this chapter mainly deals with the graphics once they are inside of Flash, we are not going to discuss how these files were made. For that, you should pick up a good book on Swift 3D. Instead, we'll concentrate on importing 3D files into Flash and manipulating them there.

For a solid introduction to Swift 30, it's worth taking a look at Foundation Swift 3D ( friends of ED, ISBN: 1-904344-19-4). This book even has a couple of chapters specifically devoted to using-Swift 3D with Flash MX.
