You've just opened the box. SQL Server 2000 is one of the most advanced and efficient systems on the market, and we've just scratched the service. It can take months of intensive study and practice to reach a competent level of expertise with SQL Server 2000. But if you understand relational database theory and SQL, Dreamweaver MX can make quick work of the web development process. If you have the financial and personnel resources to support it, SQL Server definitely won't disappoint you in performance or functionality. On the other hand, if you've a small budget and few resources to call upon, you might want to consider Microsoft Access or MySQL. In the next chapter, we review Access 2002.
