create the home page

Our home page is looking a little bare. Before we move on to working with frames, let's add some content.

Choose File > Import > Import to Stage. In the Import dialog, navigate to the development_files folder. Select the file home_content.png, and click Open.

Rename the movie clip symbol home content.

To save time and space, I won't instruct you to organize symbols throughout the rest of this book. However, keep in mind the organizing techniques we covered in Chapter 2.
