Flex Data Services (FDS) is the J2EE server software that enables you to access and synchronize data across one or more applications built with Flex framework. In this lesson, you will learn about FDS and its configuration. You will install FDS and build a simple application that can be used with FDS and understand the server compilation process as well as some of the features of FDS.
