There are four such attributes: (1) %ROWCOUNT gives the number of rows returned so far. (2) %NOTFOUND signals that there aren't any more rows to get. (3) %FOUND means that a row has been returned into the cursor. (4) %ISOPEN means that the cursor has been opened. You get an error if you try to open an already opened cursor. This is a way to check for an open cursor.
