Let's face it; your computer monitor is just a glorified television display, but without a built-in tuner. Add a tuner (in the form of a television tuner card) and you can use your PC to watch all your favorite television broadcasts. Of course, a PC is kind of an expensive television set, but it's nice to have all that functionality in a single system.
