This chapter was all about installation, and unless you have three different servers running three different types of operating systems, you should have breezed right through. The chapter opened with a brief discussion of the types of roles utilized in the Plone workflow ”these roles are discussed in greater detail as the book goes on. You learned about the requirements for running Plone and how to install Plone on various operating systems. Instructions for upgrading an older version of Plone using the migration tool were provided as well.
Finally, you learned how to add a brand new Plone site into the Zope application framework. In the next chapter, you start to work with your new Plone site, beginning with simply logging in, and then you move through working with the numerous standard content types.
