Tutorial and Resource Sites


Although tutorial and resource sites are plentiful, you will probably have to do a bit of searching to find what you are looking for. That said, there is a lot of opportunity to become involved in the Flash community. Surf around and find your "spot." Many friendly people out there are more than willing to help you as you learn the ropes. Many of these sites also offer forums and a related community.

The Developer Center (also known as DevNet) contains resources for all of Macromedia's product line. Each product has an area devoted to resources on development using the software.

Informit Network: www.informit.com

This is a large resource site for web designers and developers. It contains a section devoted to Flash.

ActionScript.com: www.actionscript.com

Flash reference and online community. This site even offers a growing reference of the ActionScript language that you can contribute to using a commenting system. The ActionScript Reference is like a nonofficial Macromedia LiveDocs system.

Studiowhiz: www.studiowhiz.com

Studiowhiz offers tutorials, reviews, and a forum on everything to do with web design and development. This website includes a lot of content on Macromedia Flash.
