Saving Your Publication

After you complete the various steps in selecting the design, colors, and fonts for the publication, you should save your publication. This protects all your hard work from unforeseen accidents such as power outages or computer malfunctions. It also enables you to take a breather before you begin the editing or enhancement process.

To save your new publication, follow these steps:

  1. Select the File menu, and then select Save . The Save As dialog box appears.

  2. Type a filename in the File Name box.

  3. Click the Save In drop-down box and select the drive in which you want to save the publication.

  4. When you have provided a filename and a location for your new publication, click the Save button. The publication is saved to your computer.
