Monitoring the GWIA Through a Web Browser

The GWIA allows you to monitor it though a Web browser. The GWIA must be configured for HTTP monitoring, as discussed earlier in this chapter.

When the GWIA is configured for HTTP monitoring, you can monitor it using the following syntax:

http://gwia IP Address or DNS Name:HTTPPORT defined in ConsoleOne

For example, here is one sample string:

http://137.65.55.211:9500

You are asked to authenticate to the GWIA using the user ID and password specified in the ConsoleOne. Then you will see a screen such as the one in Figure 10.19.

The monitoring shows statistical information, but what's really neat is that the entire configuration of your GWIA is all laid out on the Configuration page. It's easier to see how your GWIA is configured in the HTTP monitoring screen than it is through ConsoleOne.
