I'm introducing this chapter by making a disclaimer. Now, I know it's never good to start a chapter that way, is it? But I promise it's nothing bad-I just want to set the stage for what's to come in the following pages. Scripting in Photoshop can be considered an advanced task. However, I don't want to scare you away. If you set your mind to learning how to write scripts then you can indeed learn, but it will take some work. This chapter is really only meant to be an introduction and to show you what can be accomplished. It would take an entire book or two to really get in-depth with this subject, so I encourage you to review the last part of Chapter 11, where I point you to some great resources.
