XML Servers

Altova is working with various Web services platform companies to facilitate debugging and deployment of Web service applications from the XMLSPY editing environment to any of the leading industry Web service engines. The following is a listing of some of the server products for which Altova offers bundles or provides technological integration.

BEA WebLogic Workshop

BEA WebLogic Workshop is a Web services development framework with an integrated server runtime environment that enables any application developer to prototype, test, and deploy Web service applications to the BEA WebLogic platform. Altova offers an integrated bundling with the BEA Weblogic Workshop. XMLSPY’s SOAP debugger has been verified to work with BEA’s SOAP servers. For more information about BEA Weblogic Workshop, visit http://commerce.bea.com/downloads/weblogic_platform.jsp .

Iona XMLBus

Iona’s Orbix E2A XMLBus Edition is a Web services development and deployment environment for the integration of heterogeneous applications built with .NET, Java, J2EE, J2ME, and CORBA. XMLBus provides development tools, deployment infrastructure, and enterprise-class management for deployed Web services. XMLBus includes a WSDL generation utility that complements the XMLSPY WSDL editor because it is likely that Web service development will be a combination of converting existing applications into Web services and developing new Web services from scratch. The XMLSPY SOAP debugger has been tested to work with Iona’s XMLBus. Altova offers a product bundling with IONA’s XMLBus.
