AirIT Sample Thank You Letter

Reprinted with their permission, pages 140 and 141 show a copy of the letter AirIT sent to attendees of their 2005 PropWorks user conference. Note that this letter contains several design elements of a well-written thank you letter:

• It starts by thanking customers for attending.

• It clearly restates the motivation for the conference and the genuine desire for customer participation.

• It portrays, in a warm and humanizing manner, the reason for trying Innovation Games.

• It outlines the results of playing the games, and at times outlines some of the specific issues taken to address user-identified issues.

• It lets customers know that the artwork they have created provides enduring value to the organization.

It is an excellent model for you to use in your own letters.
