Personal computers should be accessible to everybody. The Accessibility features and options in Windows are designed to overcome many of the difficulties that confront users with special needs. These include utilities that produce sounds to accompany on-screen information for users with limited or impaired vision, utilities that display information on the screen for users with difficulty hearing, and still others for people who are unable to use a mouse or keyboard.
Microsoft also cooperates with other hardware and software developers who produce more specialized adaptive and assistive products that meet the needs of users with specific requirements.
