A wizard is a program that gives you step-by-step instructions for setting up a specific feature. Windows XP contains dozens of wizards that guide you through tasks such as creating an Internet connection, setting up a printer, and creating a network of PCs. A wizard will present a series of screens, each asking you to select options or to type in information. You don't have to go looking for the right wizard to accomplish a task. Windows XP presents the correct wizard the first time you set up a new function or piece of hardware. |
