Use the Control Panel

The Control Panel is a repository for all kinds of settings dialog boxes. If you're not sure where to find certain properties dialog boxes or other settings, you can click around in the Control Panel. The Control Panel is also handy if you're accessing multiple settings dialog boxes.

There are two main ways to view the Control Panel. The default is the category view, which displays icons that represent categories of settings dialog boxes. Click an icon here and you'll be presented with a number of choices.

You can get to the Control Panel from the Start menu.

Classic view presents icons that represent individual settings dialog boxes. There are more icons here than in category view, but there are fewer steps to get to where you need to go.
