Test the data by completing the following steps: -
In your browser window, open https:// your_server_IP_address /eGuide. -
Authenticate to eGuide as admin with a password of novell . -
In the Find People drop-down lists, select Last Name and Starts With . -
In the Find People field, enter co and then select Search. -
You should see Dave Coughanour and Jason Corry located in the search. View the information eGuide pulled from eDirectory. -
Select the Organizational Chart tab. The organizational structure you defined in the user object attributes is displayed. -
Configure the attributes displayed by eGuide by completing the following steps: -
In eGuide, select Administration Utility . -
Select LDAP Data Sources . -
On the New_Data_Source line, select Edit . -
Select the Attributes tab. -

Search for the DCoughanour user object. Verify that the attributes configured previously are displayed. That's it for eGuide. It's a very solid product that works very well right out of the box. You've probably noticed as we went through the preceding content that it really doesn't require a lot of administrative intervention to deploy.
