Export Calendars

You can export a calendar as an ".ics" file, a standard calendar format. The exported .ics file can then be imported by iCal on another computer, attached to an email and sent to someone else to import into their iCal, or imported into another device such as a Palm device or iPod.

To export a calendar

1.	Select a calendar in the Calendars list.
2.	From the File menu, choose "Export…" to open the export sheet shown below.
3.	Type a name for the exported calendar in the "Save As:" field.
4.	From the "Where:" pop-up menu, choose a location to save the exported .ics file.
5.	Click "Export."
